Richard, been reading you for years. One of the few economists i can read and actually say hey, "this economist has some common sense!" Also, you seem not to be one who is bought and paid for as most economists are it always seemed to me.

This Sovereign Wealth Fund is a great idea I know you have been talking about for years. I always thought it was a great idea IF run properly. Many, me included, just have concerns that the politicians will find loopholes and such so as to get to use it to buy votes and favors as they always do. If this is not addressed, then this thing will just be another boondoggle for the elites.

Another concern seems to be that many thinks this will be run by the government and is BIG government again intruding. But i get from you that private enterprise will do this project just with taxpayer backed money. 60-40 split with us getting 60 because we financed this successful company for technology of the future in the many areas you discuss. Heck, we always back them anyway when they crash the system every 10-20 years now. And who really backs the Federal Reserve? we do the people.

Also, we have a broken crazy bond market now that doesn't even work half right anymore. Time to move on. AND why shouldn't taxpayers get the benefits instead of bondholders? Go get a real job. Maybe in the future we only pay taxes to slow the economy.

Great ideas here, just GOT to keep it out of politician's hands. This is the part that worries me.
